Stress Management

When Stress Becomes Overwhelming

Stress is a normal and natural part of life and a certain amount of stress is good for us because it motivates us to push ahead and create what we want in our lives.  For many of us, however, the amount of stress we feel on a daily basis is overwhelming, or is so intense that we are unable to really enjoy our lives.  When our stress level gets this high it effects us physically as well as emotionally, and carrying high levels of stress over an extended period can lead to depression, addictive behavior, high blood pressure as well as numerous other issues.

My Approach to Stress Management

I utilize a dual approach in helping people deal with the stress in their lives.  First, I will help you find ways to reduce the number of stressors in your life while concurrently I will give you necessary skills to help you learn how to better cope with the necessary stressors of life.  To accomplish this I will use a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoanalysis, Gestalt Therapy, EFT and Hypnotherapy. With this powerful combination of tools we will be able to greatly reduce the level of stress in your life relatively quickly.
